The early start is the whole problem
A tournament day that begins with a 7am tee time means a 5:30 departure, and a corporate hospitality day frequently starts before that. Those are hours when ride-hail supply is thin and unreliable, and when a missed pickup cannot be recovered — the tee time does not move.

Corporate hospitality and pro-am days
The commercial layer of a tournament week is the pro-am and the hospitality days around it: clients collected from several hotels, delivered before play, looked after through the day and returned on their own timing rather than the field's.
Those are manifest-driven programs. Vehicles are held rather than released after drop-off, because the guest who needs to leave at two in the afternoon is the guest whose experience determines whether the invitation worked.
Getting to a course that was not built for crowds
Golf venues are generally residential or semi-rural, with remote parking and a shuttle to the gate. That makes the last mile a genuine variable: where a chauffeur can legally stop, and how far that is from where you want to be.
We work from the tournament's published traffic plan for that edition and agree the set-down before the day, rather than discovering a closed lane at 6am with a tee time in ninety minutes.
